Sleeping in pods next to your Servers?

Posted by Justin Mascio on Monday, 16 April 2012 in Food for Thought

From Inhabitat Blog:

London based pod purveyor Podtime has been marketing the pods specifically to businesses concerned that the Olympic traffic will impact productivity. While the notion of asking your staff to literally live in the office may be a little distasteful, the pods pose an interesting solution to the specific, short-term problem.

While we here at ITSNYC preach uptime and availability of your data, we haven't considered lodging with your servers.  Our offsite datacenter (in the wilds of Massachusetts) probably wouldn't let us sleep-over, anyway. :)

If you're interested in learning how to move your businesses server infrastructure to the Cloud or an offsite location (such as our datacenter), please contact us today!
