With much fanfare, but not a great deal of surprise, Verizon announced the introduction of their Apple iPhone 4, which will be available starting February 10th.
Virtually identical to the AT&T version, except for a tiny differnce in the antenna wrapped around the edge, the unit does not even sport a Verizon logo.
A highlight of the features of this phone are:
It runs on Verizon using 3G (EVDO) CDMA. Verizon's much touted 4G (LTE) will probably be forthcoming on a future iPhone.
Unlike AT&T, 3G CDMA does NOT allow a user to talk and browse simultaneously.

Today Verizon officially announced its 4G LTE pricing and full list of coverage areas. Some 38 markets will go live on December 5, including Chicago, New York, San Francisco, and LA, and pricing starts at $50/month for 5GB of data, with an $80/month plan for 10GB. The company expects 4G LTE average data rates in real-world, loaded network environments to be 5 to 12 megabits per second (Mbps) on the downlink and 2 to 5 Mbps on the uplink.
